Wrong destination on train ticket?

I plan to go out to Jersey to visit my girlfriend, via NJT. What would happen if I purposefully got a ticket that said I am getting off at an earlier stop, rather than the stop that I am actually getting off at, which is further. Would the conductor say something and kick me off the train?
