Herpes Stomatitis & Thrush. How to help cure?

I went to the doctors and they said i have herpes stomatitis and a bas case of thrush. My mouth is in ALOT of pain. I cant barely eat but the only thing is jello. Also my lips are scabbed black and is there a way to help ALL this ? My doctor did prescribed me medicine.
