List at least one instance when you read about, heard about, or experienced discrimination (not prejudice) bas?

An ex convict I worked with, told me that when he was in jail he was given the opportunity of studying COMPUTER ENGINEERING but later on the state stop funding the studies for the inmates so they had more free time to waste, briging consequences of that when they get out they don�t have a way to earn a decent salary and that bring other consequences. What has to be changed in this society is that if we know things like this happens we can do something about it, but situation like these are not talked about because a criminal is a forsaken soul.
