Have you noticed a decline in batting averages?

I don't think steroid use has made a big difference. They are still hitting plenty of HR's. I think the theory of the pitchers are getting better and better. I also think last year with all the no hitters and defensive skills, it has hurt the run production in both areas. Do you agree that the defense are making more unbelievable plays in recent years that only the few elite players made in the 1900's century?
