2012 mentioned something about gods?

Hey is there a passage in the supposed 2012 prophecy that said something about gods returning to earth cause the movie 2012 would've interesting if they included something about gods coming to earth which were aliens in the movie would've saved it making a least in teresting wouldn't anyone agree?
