Will Rick Riordan kill Percy Jackson off?

In the new book it has been said that the gods (Juno) removes Percy's Curse of Achilles which means he can now be killed like an other demigod. In the prophecy it says 'An oath to keep with a final breath' and in book 5 Percy knows and says he will die, but he just thinks its from his prophecy but Rick doesn't need Percy now as he has Jason too so I have a very bad feeling Rick will kill Percy off in this new book or in another one, after all, he killed off Luke when he no longer needed him!
