Rickenbacker, P bass, Jazz bass, or SG bass?

Hey guys I'm lookin to get a new bas. My budget is $2,000 dollars. These are the 4 basses I'm looking at. My dad owns a very old Gibson Eb-3 bass that doesn't sound too great anymore, so I was thinking about that a little bit. I was also thinking a lot about a rickenbacker, more so then an SG bass. I also was considering a fender jazz and P bass. Which one do you think is the best?
