From a christian stand point, is life pointless?

Jesus was speaking about the fall of Jerusalem when He was speaking to the disciples. Jesus never said what the signs of the end of times are or when it would come. Jesus does not know this information, only God does. The point of life is to live happily with God in your life and Jesus in your heart. I do it and I don't feel life is pointless. I hate you feel that way, could be b/c you don't have God in your life. Actually I am very pleased with my life and everything in it. I'm not perfect and my life is not perfect, but I have a happy heart and that makes a world of difference. Anyway the "Brother will turn on brother........" bit has been happening all along. We are not to predict when God will return, it's not our job and God does not want us to. God will come when He is ready. I don't know what He is waiting for, but I trust that He will come in time. I can imagine that He is waiting on the world to get to the point of where He has to come save the Christians or the Christians will not be able to take it anymore. That is just an opinion though.
